Working feverishly to a deadline of 100 minutes, teams of 5-8 people pit their wits around a circuit of tricky 3-dimensional tasks. With only 20 minutes to solve each task, communication, leadership, and teamwork are all tested to the max. Unlike ordinary ‘run of the mill’ problem-solving exercises, Integrity breaks new ground by introducing a revolutionary new game dynamic where both the team, and their ‘umpire’ are scored on their performance!

At the start of each task a volunteer umpire drops back from the outbound team to monitor the inbound team. Once time is up, that umpire scores the team according to seven performance criteria and the umpire is then scored by the team. Each team also holds five ‘Integrity Stones’ to award to the umpires at their discretion. After a mind-bending rotation of five physical conundrums, teams declare their total hard-earned score sheets plus ‘Integrity Stones’, and the winners are revealed.

Balance your team’s thinking in 100 minutes. The subtle underlying business message, gradually revealed through the course of the game, encourages participants to view the world from the perspective of their colleagues, customers and suppliers.

Go Remote is an app and browser-based team building activity specifically designed for teams working from home or in a multi-locational situation. Your team connects via the conferencing application of your choice and joins the activity by downloading the Go Team app or accessing it through their browser with a unique game code. During the activity, you’ll complete fun team challenges including quizzes, video and photo challenges within a specific time frame some using simple household items. The tasks can be completely customised. You can choose to run a short, sharp, fun activity or include activities that will realise more profound learning outcomes. Our expert facilitators will be online to keep the action happening and available to walk the group through a debrief at the close of the activity.

Results: The power of Go Remote is its flexibility. The tasks can be explicitly designed to match desired outcomes from a quick energiser to a learning and development program. You can also design the way teams work and connect. Individuals can work on their own and come together at the end of the activity to discuss their experience. They can work in a team collaborating and messaging via the app in a competition against other teams while they watch their team’s progress against the others in real-time. Specific tasks can demand collaboration with one or more other individuals, people they have never worked with before. The options are limitless.

Guided by the custom-built app, teams play the role of an Expedition Team on a multi-level journey. Fun and engaging challenges earn the team’s points and move them up the levels. Different roles include ‘Climbers’ and The Expedition Leader, who must combine their various instructions and knowledge. The ultimate goal is to successfully travel from Base Camp to the summit and take a celebratory team photo “on the top”. Using detailed plans and a flat pack kit of materials, teams construct a life size plane. Once complete they decorate the plane with specially designed decals. Then teams formulate a strategy to navigate the plane successfully through a series of obstacles, deciding together what roles and responsibilities each person in the team will take. At race time, teams line up their planes on the runway.

Results: Teamwork, resourcefulness and excellent communication skills are required to turn a flat pack of materials into a plane. When constructing the plane, a knowledge of the final objective is key. Allocation of tasks to sub-teams and effective cross team communication with a clear understanding of how one sub-team’s components fit into those of the other’s and the overall project, will lead to an well-constructed plane. Effective strategic planning, accurate role allocation and effective team work will lead to success in the air race!

The Green Game is a socially responsible team building activity where teams build sustainable and environmentally friendly bird boxes, insect hotels and bat boxes. In this meaningful activity, teams must first complete “green challenges” provided via iPads to earn sustainable materials to build bird, insect and bat boxes. These fun, creative, mental and physical challenges are of varying difficulty and encourage ingenious innovation – teams position their talents by completing the bird, bat and insect-based challenges they can.

Decisive leadership, strategy and effective communication are everything as teams can gain an advantage by juggling multiple tasks. After stocking up on essential materials, the team’s next task is to share roles and produce three eco-friendly wildlife habitats. Guided by three-dimensional sketches, teams first build and then decorate the wooden structures according to specific criteria.

Results: The Green Game is a fun, reflective, practical and inclusive game that has local impact and a positive shared experience. Participants learn about their local ecology and the impact of human activity on local bird, bat and insect populations. In the first phase of the activity, teams discover what positive actions encourage populations to grow and restore balance to the natural world in their area.

The games present a relaxed and informal platform for co-workers to get to know each other, break the ice and explore team dynamics. To succeed, teams need to collaborate effectively. As time goes by, participants need to talk and let the rest of the team know what challenges they can confidently respond to. Confidence builds as challenges are successfully completed and participants learn to appreciate each other’s skills.

Leadership stories is a leadership game where participants have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills. In each story assigned to the game character at the beginning of the game, participants will face leadership challenges and must make the right decisions for each story, weighing the pros and cons, understanding the context and reading between the lines, all in record time.

Results:
With the help of the game, participants can learn about their impact on their team and their results by experiencing several critical situations where they are asked to lead and make decisions. They will understand the importance of different approaches in inspiring and motivating the team, as well as developing the ability to choose the right approach in certain critical situations.

In The Discovery Challenge, teams rotate around a series of way points guided by the Go Team app.

At each destination, there is a challenge or puzzle to solve that draws on the history, culture and landmarks of the city. With each completed challenge the Go Team app reveals the location of their next challenge. With some challenges they will be left to their own devices – at others they will meet characters who will assist them or pass on vital information.

At the completion of the last challenge the teams will have all the information they need to use the ‘quest wheel’ to reveal the location of the final destination where scores and adventures are compared.

The Discovery Challenge generates a strong spirit of teamwork, competition and fun. It will bring out the Indiana Jones in every member of your team, getting them working with others in unconventional ways and leave them with a unique memory of an amazing shared experience. Discovery Challenges pushes creative thinking and problem solving. Conference or product messages can be easily integrated within the challenges themselves to get your team learning while having a fun shared experience together.

The Phoenix Project is a hybrid event allowing participants on location to collaborate with colleagues in remote offices or at home.

Teams work to find and unlock checkpoints enabling them to retrieve 12 golden feathers and reveal the Phoenix’s nest location.

Participants on location take the role of ‘Hunters’ out on the street guided by a GPS app. Participants back at base or working from home, are the ‘Gatherers’ who work through on screen checkpoint challenges. Successes reveal clues, failures may require further investment of resources.

Only by working together can the team complete their journey and score points. Agile teams who can adapt quickly to different situations and communicate, despite situation or role, are sure to be the winning team!

Escape the Maze invites you to navigate through a real-world adventure trail in order to escape a virtual world maze on a tablet-based app. Armed with a pack full of gadgets and gizmos, you must decipher secret codes and complete challenges in order to pass the virtual checkpoints and move forward in the game. Each game section is designed to challenge participants team dynamics and ability to communicate. This outdoor team building game asks teams to race around real-world terrain in search for the GPS triggered checkpoints and challenges in which they eventually find the exit and Escape the Maze.

Teams must choose their answers carefully as some checkpoints can open lucky secret alternative short cuts but also disastrous diversions for the not so lucky. Every action has a reaction so teams must tread carefully but quickly.

Learning outcomes

Escape the Maze is a fast-paced and highly interactive problem solving team building game. Participants must work together as they are required to make decisions under pressure. Trust, leadership and being openminded are essential. As a competitive exercise, Escape the Maze demonstrates that communication, time management and accountability are key. If you are seeking a collaborative exercise, the teams can approach the GPS triggered challenges at the same time, sharing knowledge and learning from their successes and failures. The in-app messaging feature allows them to do this. Whether competitive or collaborative, the biggest learning outcomes is that teams need to work together at the end in order to save themselves.

The Curio Show is an intriguing game of deductive reasoning, a little guesswork and bluff, just like Antiques Roadshow. Avoiding the mundane world of plates, vases and furniture, the game features a diverse collection of curio objects set a top plinths, ranging from the intriguing to the downright bizarre.

In the Curio Show, teams browse the curios. Simple questions will provoke lively debate as to age, value and intended use of each item. Teams then take it in turns to provide three descriptions of an antique, only one of which is correct. The other teams guess which description is the correct one. The truth is revealed and the winners awarded prizes!
