What is Leadership Stories?

Leadership Stories is a leadership team-building program designed as a gamified experience in which participants analyze business scenarios and make decisions as a team.

This activity challenges participants to think like a leader: to understand the context, weigh their options, listen to different perspectives, and choose the right course of action. It is an interactive format, ideal for teams that want to explore leadership in a practical, safe, and business-relevant way.

How does it work?

Participants work in teams and go through a series of scenarios inspired by the organizational environment. Each scenario challenges them to analyze the available information, discuss different perspectives, and reach a joint decision.

Throughout the experience, teams earn points based on the choices they make, while the facilitator observes the dynamics of the discussions and guides the process. At the end, the debrief connects the decisions made during the game to relevant topics such as leadership style, communication, influence, active listening, and impact on the team.

When is Leadership Stories the right choice?

Leadership Stories este potrivit pentru organizațiile care vor un team building cu miză de învățare. Este o alegere inspirată pentru echipe care au nevoie să discute despre leadership, comunicare, influență, colaborare și luarea deciziilor în situații complexe.

It blends in naturally with:

  • programe de dezvoltare pentru lideri și manageri
  • team building-uri pentru echipe de management
  • offsite-uri cu focus pe leadership și aliniere
  • kick-off-uri cu mesaj despre decizie, responsabilitate și direcție comună
  • programe de engagement pentru echipe care trec prin schimbare

Why do Leadership Stories deliver results?

Leadership Stories works because it transforms leadership from a theoretical concept into a practical experience. Participants don’t just passively listen to lectures on leadership styles; instead, they analyze situations, formulate arguments, negotiate different perspectives, and make decisions together.

The format highlights behaviors that are relevant to the workplace: how to listen to differing opinions, how to build influence, how to reach consensus, and how to make decisions when the context isn’t entirely clear.

The final debrief transforms the game into a valuable opportunity for reflection, linking the choices made during the activity to everyday leadership, team communication, and the impact of decisions on results.
