River Runner mixes the thrills of rafting with the task of running an extreme sports company and creates a thought-provoking, motivational indoor game.

The game is focused on balancing customer satisfaction and profitability.

Each team acts as a rafting company whose task is to organise an expedition down one of the world’s longest and most challenging rivers. Even if participants don’t go into water, they get access to a full-size inflatable boat, paddles, life jackets and all sorts of equipment which is vital for the expedition.

It takes quick and efficient team management to gather vital information, and a flexible approach to take advantage of unexpected events. It also requires additional information that is encountered along the river. Success is achieved by striking a balance between being the first rafting company to cross the river and satisfying demanding customers.

Maintaining a “clean” safety record is just as important as making a profit at the end of the game.

Results: River Runner demonstrates that effective planning and strategy implementation are essential to achieving success. So is energy and teamwork.

The activity offers endless opportunities to recap issues such as problem solving, customer satisfaction, risk management and leadership.

Boom Time is a fast, fun and inclusive musical activity to energize and unify your team.

Teams get stronger as they create adrenaline-pumping music and transform any room into a colorful, fast-paced orchestra that is engaging and energizing for everyone. Participants will create unified music with a Boom Whacker!
Boom whackers are lightweight percussion tubes like hollow, color-coded, plastic tubes, tuned to musical pitches by length.
A high-tech visual interface guides them in collaborating to generate a fiery symphony of music. Striking their tubes creates musical notes when a colored block hits a key in the visual interface.

As the event progresses, the pace and complexity grows. Blocks seen on the interface move faster and teams respond more vigorously to keep the rhythm building to an uplifting momentum.

Requiring involvement from all individuals and collaboration as a group, this team building activity nurtures openness and teamwork. It’s simply a great way for people to de-stress and have fun with their colleagues.

Teams get creative as they design, build and decorate a bookshelf that becomes an important educational resource.

This creative and enjoyable team CSR activity produces much needed and lasting benefits for children who don’t have easy access to a commodity that many of us took for granted when we were growing up.

Working in teams, each participant is responsible for specific tasks, playing their part in producing beautiful, brightly colored and creatively designed bookcases.

Each team starts with a theme and with the components of their bookcase. Team members must collaborate in order to come up with the best strategy to design, build and create a one-of-a-kind bookcase.

Half the team is responsible for producing the elaborate themed mural that forms the backdrop of the bookshelf whilst the other half turn the shelves into a work of art by attending a decoupage workshop and then applying the techniques.

Results: BookWorx creates awareness when it comes to the lack of resources in education, in underprivileged communities and their institutions. It is a wonderful activity where teamwork, strategic thinking and creativity are the main ingredients to succeed, along with empathy and kindness. (CSR activity)

Groups can also collect books to ensure that the bookshelves are full at the time of donation and can continue to keep them updated over time, creating lasting results & connections.

Dynamic reveal of the company logo

In the Picture offers a dynamic way to present the company logo.

We all know that people are representing the brand, in every thing a company does, being the company’s most valuable asset. The unique way each team member works and interacts contributes to what a company is and how it is seen from the outside.

In the Picture demonstrates how important every employee of your company is. This activity can become the highlight of a conference, celebrating the areas and activities of excellence in your company and the contribution each team member makes to its achievements.

At the start of the conference, each participant will be photographed, then the photos will be processed and arranged into a spectacular montage that will be projected at the end of the conference. Participants will see their photos displayed to a meaningful soundtrack.

First, they will see a dynamic sequence of photos, then a montage of four photos, followed by a montage of sixteen, then a montage of sixty-four photos. At the end, the camera will pan away from the frame until all the images create: the company logo, the conference message or the main theme of the event.

Results: In the Picture is the ally of a conference where emphasis is placed on the company’s values and history. The moment when the pictures are edited and put together will bring a positive impact to the whole team.

Imagine the atmosphere as your team enters a giant adults’ toy store full of big machines and shiny mechanism.

The objective is to build a series of large mechanisms which, when placed in the right sequence, perform an amazing chain reaction of events where each device triggers the next, and the next, and the next… in an ingenious way!

Rat Trap is an activity where teams work together to solve a puzzle and reap the rewards of their seamless collaboration. The trick with Rat Trap is for teams to be aware of the bigger picture, as each structure has to be built in the right way and be placed in the right position for everything to work.

The tension builds as the whole chain reaction is unleashed, culminating in a weight being dropped that leads to the rat being caught and eventually everyone has a cause for celebration!

Results: Rat Trap brings teams together to work in a cohesive manner.

Construction draws on logical problem solving, project management and leadership skills.

Teams work towards a common goal communicating effectively and sharing ideas to connect the sections of the Rat Trap together.

Teams focus on efficiency and creativity as they create a process, build a team and help a child in need!

Provided with a mixed bag of whacky wooden parts, teams are challenged to combine components and produce a range of high-quality toys for children. Three-dimensional blueprints guide participants through the process and detail a whole range of toy designs.

Not only is quality output important, success in Toy Factory is also measured in delivering the goods by respecting the deadline. Once quality is checked, the toys are then creatively decorated and then they get to create innovative and educational usage for these toys.

A fun informal finale allows each team to take the stage and show off their game and creations.

The toys and any game material could be donated to a local children’s charity, school or orphanage of your choice.

Results: Teams experience creating efficient production lines and quality control systems to achieve customer satisfaction in a fun, inspiring way.

Team dynamics come into play as all individuals must be involved in a productive way that ensure the group’s success.

The objective of the game is to earn as much money as possible by coordinating and participating in a series of team projects. Each participant is given details of a project which requires the creation of the team with the specified skills and talents.

The project is implemented over a set period of time at a given location. After completing the project, participants are rewarded and can get involved in the next available project. Since all participants are both project managers and potential team members, it requires prioritization, negotiation, making personalized proposals and assertiveness to complete projects and earn rewards. In addition to supervising their own projects, participants need to negotiate with other players to help them complete as many projects as possible. This strategy is necessary to maximise profit.

Rewards for completing a project include: money, new skills, upgrades of certain talents and other bonuses. Rewards are only given to the project manager, who is then responsible for distributing them to his or her team members.

Speed of implementation is key, and creating the right mix for a team as quickly as possible by convincing other participants can be the deciding factor in winning the game.

Time waits for no one! In this activity you have to move fast, otherwise don’t even think you might win!

Results: The main benefits of the exercise: learn efficient use of time, taking into account opportunity costs. Participants need to prioritise their objectives and make the most of their skills and talents.

Individual strategies are closely linked to each participant’s brief, but all projects need collaboration between different people to be completed.

Teams manage resources and monitor conditions, instructing their guides (up and down) Mount Everest over a 20-day expedition.

Due to the complexity of the game, team members must take on individual roles, acquiring knowledge, effectively communicating and successfully completing physical challenges.

They decide on how they will move their guides each day and enter it into the game tablet. The team with the most points is declared the winner.

The event facilitator explains the game and shows a video which introduces participants to the complexities of organising and facilitating an expedition to summit Mount Everest.

Teams consider the varying conditions in order to decide on an optimal strategy for that day. Throughout the game teams can complete any of the six physical challenges in order to gain additional points.

Results: An experiential learning tool where participants learn, through the use of an engaging theme with tactile components, how to connect fun and relevant links to their business environment.

The Peak Performance App also has an optional ‘Training Mode’ which allows teams to review and improve their team dynamics before the start of the game.

Teams generate brilliant new ideas, pitch and invest in this fun dragons’ den style game.

In the GIG (Global Innovation Game) participants organize, innovate, validate, pitch and invest, all in a maximum of 2 hours!

The event director explains the objectives of the game. The cards are distributed to each of the team tables. Teams unite and get hands on with the game ice breaker.

By randomly combing their cards each person brainstorms their own ideas for either a Smart Object, Service or Tool. Players swap their cards into multiple positions offering a multitude of potential connections.

This random association matrix stimulates the creative process and throws up some surprisingly ingenious connections.

Results: Global Innovation Game has been developed out of a need to step away from everyday tech devices.

GIG brings it back to basics, gets everyone openly talking, innovating & creating ideas without the aid of search engines, PowerPoints & screens.

Lego Serious Play fosters creative thinking and communication through team building metaphors and imaginary scenarios, using visual three-dimensional Lego constructions.

Introduction

This will help people connect to what they are going to explore, and to understand the context and meaning of what they are about to learn.

Creation

This will involve people in a process where they create a product connected to the targets of exploration, involving their own knowledge and reflections as well as their own creative skills.

Debriefing

This step has the aim of helping people reflect on what they have created and look deeper into their own perspective about their own product, in order to become aware of what their explorations have brought them, and to be able order to gain more insights. The participants get a chance to connect their newly gained knowledge to new explorations they would want to pursue.

Results: Lego Serious play contributes to team development, as well as to the process of reorganization of companies.
