Brand National is a creative and fun team building exercise that explores the issues of brand and identity, by challenging delegates to create a national brand identity from scratch.
Teams invent their countries based on a given set of national characteristics. They define and create elements that will identify their nation – a country name, flag, anthem, dance, and national clothing.
The event ends with a high-energy, Eurovision-style show, where each nation launches its new identity in a choreographed extravaganza with flags, songs, dances and national costumes.

In China, dragons are a symbol of good luck, possessing great power, wisdom, fertility and dignity. Dragon dance or pinyin: wǔ long is performed by a team who through cooperation and harmony, manipulate a long flexible colourful dragon mimicking the undulating movements of this mythical river spirit.
In Dragon Squad teams design and construct a Chinese Dragon. Then, equipped with musical instruments, each team choreographs a musical score and rehearses their own Dragon Dance routine. Then, with their uniquely designed dragon, they cooperate in harmony to put on a dignified and coordinated dragon dance. Points are awarded to teams for creativity, performance, and teamwork.
Learning Outcomes
In Dragon Squad teams must use creativity, ingenuity and project management skills to design and construct a dragon. Teams assess the task in hand then form specialist units to work in parallel before bringing all the elements together.
The success of the construction phase requires cross functional cooperation and active communication to ensure all the parts come together as planned. Choreographing music and dance relies on creative thinking and collaboration. Pulling it all together in rehearsals and final performance requires exceptional leadership skills and teamwork.

From blueprint to boat, teams coordinate roles to build and race a seaworthy cardboard vessel.
Teams have to select a design, gather together some building materials and then combine their individual talents to build a seaworthy vessel.
Teams read through instructions and break into working groups, with specific task allocation. Some of the delegates draw plans onto the cardboard carefully, others cut the shapes out and, gradually, a boat takes form.
Participants also discover that true leadership and great ideas can often come from those you least expect. Teams personalize their boats by creating a bespoke team sail. The proof of a job well done takes place on a lake, pool or at the open sea.
Before the sail, teams will show their boat creations and celebrate their creativity.
Results: ‘Impossible’ becomes possible when people collaborate and coordinate their efforts.

River Runner mixes the thrills of rafting with the task of running an extreme sports company and creates a thought-provoking, motivational indoor game.
The game is focused on balancing customer satisfaction and profitability.
Each team acts as a rafting company whose task is to organise an expedition down one of the world’s longest and most challenging rivers. Even if participants don’t go into water, they get access to a full-size inflatable boat, paddles, life jackets and all sorts of equipment which is vital for the expedition.
It takes quick and efficient team management to gather vital information, and a flexible approach to take advantage of unexpected events. It also requires additional information that is encountered along the river. Success is achieved by striking a balance between being the first rafting company to cross the river and satisfying demanding customers.
Maintaining a “clean” safety record is just as important as making a profit at the end of the game.

We’re bringing Top Gear to the board! Need 4 Speed is a miniature study in movement and time, a fast-paced activity that encourages participants to analyse and improve their performance both individually and as a group.
Faced with a jumble of components, teams must step on the gas and build a series of two-stroke, three-motion concept cars. Optimizing the process is critical as teams are challenged to form super-efficient assembly lines and decrease the build times of each model. The pressure increases because each model has to be built in a different style, with specific characteristics.
Quality is everything: the final result, from limousine models to sports cars, has to meet the customer’s expectations down to the smallest detail.
Speed will be rewarded! As the learning process progresses and each sample is analysed, the focus shifts from individual team times to sharing best practices for achieving the best assembly times at group level. Best times are analyzed against previous “best” times.

The objective of the game is to earn as much money as possible by coordinating and participating in a series of team projects. Each participant is given details of a project which requires the creation of the team with the specified skills and talents.
The project is implemented over a set period of time at a given location. After completing the project, participants are rewarded and can get involved in the next available project. Since all participants are both project managers and potential team members, it requires prioritization, negotiation, making personalized proposals and assertiveness to complete projects and earn rewards. In addition to supervising their own projects, participants need to negotiate with other players to help them complete as many projects as possible. This strategy is necessary to maximise profit.
Rewards for completing a project include: money, new skills, upgrades of certain talents and other bonuses. Rewards are only given to the project manager, who is then responsible for distributing them to his or her team members.
Speed of implementation is key, and creating the right mix for a team as quickly as possible by convincing other participants can be the deciding factor in winning the game.
Time waits for no one! In this activity you have to move fast, otherwise don’t even think you might win!

Teams manage resources and monitor conditions, instructing their guides (up and down) Mount Everest over a 20-day expedition.
Due to the complexity of the game, team members must take on individual roles, acquiring knowledge, effectively communicating and successfully completing physical challenges.
They decide on how they will move their guides each day and enter it into the game tablet. The team with the most points is declared the winner.
The event facilitator explains the game and shows a video which introduces participants to the complexities of organising and facilitating an expedition to summit Mount Everest.
Teams consider the varying conditions in order to decide on an optimal strategy for that day. Throughout the game teams can complete any of the six physical challenges in order to gain additional points.
Results: An experiential learning tool where participants learn, through the use of an engaging theme with tactile components, how to connect fun and relevant links to their business environment.
