The energy-efficient construction industry, all in one place

nZEB Expo brings together companies, professionals and end-users in a format that combines an exhibition, educational sessions and practical demonstrations.

With editions in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, nZEB Expo showcases the solutions, expertise and technologies transforming the way we design, build and renovate.

A platform for the entire industry

Architects, engineers, energy auditors, builders, developers, manufacturers and people working on their own projects all come together within the same ecosystem.

Technical topics become easier to understand through the products on display, demonstrations, practical content and direct discussions with specialists.

What's on show

  • Materials, equipment and systems for nZEB buildings and passive houses
  • Solutions for design, construction, building systems and energy-efficient renovation
  • Conferences and panel discussions with industry professionals
  • Workshops, practical demonstrations and one-to-one advice
  • Areas dedicated to innovation, applied technologies and outdoor solutions

A large-scale event

With events at Romexpo in Bucharest and BTarena in Cluj-Napoca, nZEB Expo brings together extensive exhibition spaces, content stages, demonstration areas, outdoor activities and a constant flow of visitors.

For Universum Events, the project demonstrates how we design and deliver large-scale exhibitions and trade fairs. From format strategy, event production and on-site logistics to event management and digital attendee solutions such as MyConnector, every component works as part of one system.

Impact of the event

  • Editions in two cities, adapted to different venues
  • Exhibition areas, stages and demonstrations coordinated as one integrated experience
  • Thousands of visitors welcomed over several days
  • An agenda relevant to both professionals and the general public

nZEB Expo x Tech Expo

In 2026, nZEB Expo and Tech Expo took place simultaneously in the same exhibition hall in Bucharest.

The two concepts retained their distinct identities while sharing a common infrastructure, connecting energy-efficient building solutions with everyday technologies.

For Universum, the project involved coordinating two large-scale exhibitions, content stages, demonstrations and visitor flows over four days.

nZEB Expo Partnership

nZEB Expo is organised by Universum Events, Soflete.ro and The Concept. Universum manages the organisation and logistics of the event, Soflete.ro develops the technical content and promotes the project, while The Concept connects the exhibition area with the industry.

Together, the three partners combine event expertise, technical education and industry connections within a national platform dedicated to high-performance construction.
