Preface

I love stories. Listening and sharing them. To learn from them and pass them on.

Saturday, at the end of an event I had a feeling. A feeling that I wish you all and that we'll talk about later.

Chapter 1 - Always together

Let's go back a little bit in time, to 2010. Together with Cristi and Mihai we were writing the first lines of a story - the Universum story.
A book with many pages, which is getting bigger every day, a story with which we have grown and are still growing. Us, the story and all the participants in our events.
The three characters are always in the foreground - together at every event, each with his role and with the feeling that we are inseparable.
There is no event that we implement and one of us is missing. Being together gives us the confidence that we can face any challenge.
Everyone has their own skills, just like the heroes in White Harap and by working together we have confidence that anything is possible.

Chapter 2 - On your own

Time passes and more and more projects come. Still together until one day. A day when the first 2 events appear in parallel.
And because the challenges always come in packages, if one of the events was relatively simple, the other promises to be one of the most complex ever.
A conference event, 2 teambuilding activities in parallel - both implemented for the first time and a party at the end.

We're crazy and we're not afraid of the unknown, we take all the steps before things happen, even if they are crazy things we've never done before and most of the time we succeed.
At the end I had tears in my eyes - tears of happiness - I was responsible for those activities and they went beyond expectations.

Cristi came to the party in the evening. We celebrated our success together. We were 3 again.

Chapter 3 - The season of change

I still remember the first Internet and Mobile World. Before the event I slept for an hour on a sofa at Romexpo.
It was the event that brought growth in the team. New colleagues came, it was a complex event, a new business that brought us back together. .
Again I knew that the only way we can make things happen is if we all put all our efforts in the same direction.

We had many moments when the easiest thing to do was to give up. Yet some people gave 2001TPTP3T and it turned out great.

After this first edition, the IMW team became a separate team focused in this direction. The project has grown a lot and along with it other beautiful projects such as Bucharest Technology Week which is happening soon and where I would be glad to meet as many of you reading these lines.

Chapter 4 - History repeats itself

I was telling you about a feeling I had last Saturday. A feeling that you can't cover in a few lines.
That fulfillment that tells you that what you're doing is right. The feeling of fulfillment comes from so many directions that you don't know what fills your heart the most.
The fact that you have grown up, the fact that those around you have grown up, the contribution you have.

On Saturday there were 3 of us again - this time 3 project managers implementing 3 different teambuildings at a great distance from each other.
And because, as I was saying, good things always come in packages, other colleagues in the team were just implementing Imobiliarium - a project in its first edition, an endeavor that I would compare to the first edition of Internet and Mobile World. We weren't all there and there was no need to work until morning. No one slept an hour on a sofa. And once again, things went beyond expectations.

Chapter 5 - The magic number

There's a saying - if you're irreplaceable, you'll never have a vacation. It's true.
That's why the best thing is to build a team that writes the story with you, where people collaborate and are aware of each other's roles. They know how to work as a team and at the same time be independent. Each responsible for their own growth and their own piece.

As you can see, the number 3 repeats. A magic number that we find in all stories. What are the 3 things that come to mind when you think of your team and fill your heart with joy? And what are the other 3 that would be a plus?
