Rags to Riches is a teambuilding activity that offers participants an engaging way to “give back” while recycling unwanted items. By calling a national charity or local community cause that will benefit from your event, we will help collect clothes and other recyclable items from delegates.

As part of the session, teams take part in a dynamic networking and communication challenge to recreate a giant version of the company logo in pre-determined, demarcated areas using all donated items. At the end, there is an ideal photo opportunity as everyone celebrates their collective creativity. We then arrange delivery of all goods to your chosen charities.

Results: Success during the Rags to Riches project requires individual responsibility for how each participant’s roles influence the overall vision. Organizationally, this fun exercise helps reinforce cooperative values. From a behavioural perspective, Rags to Riches can be positioned to reinforce business metaphors that highlight how a small change in personal habits can have a huge cumulative impact. During the programme, participants are reminded of the impact that the garment industry has on the environment.
