Red Alert is an engaging experiential learning game that enhances teamwork. The theme is exciting and this plus the fact that you have a limited time frame ensures that everyone is involved throughout the entire game.

Teams have to determine the best strategies to solve each puzzle. As the game progresses, team members learn to work better together. They tend to appreciate each other’s skills and realise that their individual talents count enormously for the effectiveness of the team as a whole.

The team’s closeness grows with the completion of the puzzle that stops the virus from spreading. Otherwise, there will be consequences.

Results: Teams learn that there is a huge difference between paying attention and understanding. They develop the ability to see a problem from more than one angle.

Towards the end of the game teams break away from the silo mentality of completing their own puzzles, while collaborating to help other teams for the benefit of the whole group.
